The inspiration for ‘Mini Adventure’ came from a recent trip to Marrakech and a memorable visit to Le Jardin Majorelle. I was so inspired by the bold contrast of the yellow and blue within the gardens and knew that I had to create a collection based on the sights of my trip. My main aim was to create a collection that allows children to be children and fight against the mini me culture, that has currently overtaken the childrenswear market. As my collection is a celebration of children and having fun, I got my nephew involved. He drew some characters to come on the adventure with us; these characters can be found in my ‘Riley’ print.
