BLU3PRNT has been my exploration of recycling and repurposing denim to last. Developed from my interest in punk fashion, social commentary and textiles, I was determined to create something totally new and impactful in order to express my concerns about the waste and toxicity of the fashion industry. I wanted to create my own blueprint for sustainable fashion.

It takes up to 10,000 litres of water to produce a single pair of jeans, a large sum of the population does not have access to clean water. Through shredding old jeans and knitting them back into clothing, I have been able to make use of materials that would be put in landfill for years to come, and I have used close to 50 pairs of jeans this year which equates to 500,000 litres of water.
